Pans America by FeLion Studios
Cook up your favorite (or least favorite, as it were) state with this creative culinary layout. Each state is actually an individual pan, but you buy them as one combined display for the “you should just work harder to be able to afford it” American price of $8,000 at felionstudios.

There are other parts of the world where the police are always viewed as the enemy, and folks have extensive experience with petrol bombs and rock-throwing and other, much more violent means of protesting. America, for the most part, has no such experience. There have been riots, of course, but violence really isn’t part of the American protest experience. That is somewhat surprising, given the way police all over the country are treating peaceful, unarmed protesters. This isn’t Syria. What country is this?

With its 435 hand-colored illustrations of birds drawn to size, the volume is one of the best preserved editions of Audubon’s 19th-century masterpiece. The sale at Sotheby’s auction house in London had been anticipated for months by wealthy collectors.

In Memoriam — The USS Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
Take a moment today to consider the fate of those sailors and soldiers who lost their lives in what amounted to a sucker punch by the Axis.
Hands up if you have ever visited the USS Arizona Memorial. It is (as is the case with war memorials) a very sobering experience.
